From first conversation to ongoing improvement
Fusion uses a structured process to understand your business, agree the right support, build a practical plan and keep progress moving through clear accountability.
A simple view of how Fusion moves from first conversation to ongoing improvement
The visual below shows the seven stages of working together, from the initial call through to implementation, review and continuous improvement.

What happens, and why each step matters
Each stage builds on the one before it, so the support is based on the firm’s real goals, operational pressure points and priorities — not assumptions.
01
StepInitial 30-Minute Call
We start with a 30-minute call to get to know each other. This gives us the opportunity to understand who you are, what your business looks like, the support you may need, and how Fusion Business Management may be able to help.
Outcome: a clear first understanding of your business and whether Fusion may be able to help.
02
StepAgree the Right Fit
If both parties feel there is a good fit, we agree how we will work together and what support is required. This ensures expectations are clear from the outset and that our support is tailored to your business.
Outcome: shared expectations, agreed support and a clear direction before work begins.
03
StepReview or Create Your Business Plan
We begin by reviewing your existing business plan, if you have one. If you do not, we work with you to create one. This gives us a clear foundation for understanding your goals, priorities, challenges and the direction you want the business to move in.
Outcome: a practical foundation for decisions, priorities and future planning.
04
StepIdentify Issues, Goals and Priorities
Once the business plan is clear, we spend time understanding the issues you are facing and what you want to achieve. This may include operational challenges, processes, compliance, team structure, finance, client communications, marketing, IT or wider business management support.
Outcome: the right problems are identified before solutions are put in place.
05
StepBuild a Practical Action Plan
From everything we have discussed, we create a clear and practical action plan. This focuses on the areas that will make the biggest difference to the day-to-day running of your business, while also supporting your longer-term goals.
Outcome: a focused plan that turns discussion into action.
06
StepIntroduce Level-10 Meetings and Scorecard
We then put structure around the plan through an optional weekly or fortnightly Level-10 meeting and business scorecard. This helps keep priorities visible, track progress, review key numbers, identify issues quickly, maintain accountability and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
Outcome: priorities stay visible, progress is reviewed regularly and agreed actions are followed through.
07
StepImplement, Review and Improve
We help put the plan into action and use the Level-10 meeting and scorecard to keep everything moving. Depending on your needs, this could include operations support, process reviews, back-office implementation, compliance follow-up, HR support, finance tasks, marketing support, website updates, provider coordination and ongoing improvements.
Outcome: ongoing support that helps the business keep improving over time.
Level-10 meetings and scorecards create rhythm, visibility and accountability
For firms that want ongoing support, this structure helps turn the plan into consistent follow-through. Priorities stay visible, actions stay owned and progress is reviewed regularly rather than left to memory.
Keep priorities visible
Important actions stay front and centre instead of being lost in daily work.
Track meaningful numbers
The scorecard gives the business a regular view of progress and performance.
Identify issues early
Problems are raised quickly, discussed clearly and turned into next actions.
Maintain accountability
Agreed actions have owners, timelines and regular review points.
A clearer way to agree priorities, own actions and keep improvements moving
The process is designed to keep the work practical. It helps the firm understand what matters most, agree the right actions and keep those actions visible until they are completed.
Clear ownership
Actions are agreed, owners are clear and everyone knows what needs to happen next.
Practical structure
Meetings, scorecards and planning tools are used to keep priorities visible and manageable.
Ongoing momentum
Progress is reviewed regularly so important work does not get lost in the day-to-day pressure.
Better follow-through
Ideas and recommendations are turned into practical actions, reviewed and improved over time.
Support areas this process can cover
Depending on the needs of the firm, implementation may focus on one area or several. The goal is always the same: stronger operations, better follow-through and more capacity for the business owner and team.
Operations
Day-to-day operational support, reviews and business structure.
Process Improvement
Workflow reviews, documentation updates and back-office implementation.
Compliance
Follow-up, provider liaison and support for regulated operational tasks.
HR & People Support
Recruitment, 1:1s, team support and development planning.
Finance
Practical support with finance admin and information flow.
Marketing & Client Comms
Client communications, newsletters and coordination with outsourced support.
IT & Provider Coordination
Website updates, system changes and support with external providers.
